A Productive Weekend Well Spent

This weekend was a mix of productivity and good times. We kicked things off the right way—with a good ol’ crawfish boil. There’s nothing better than gathering around with friends and family, peeling crawfish, and enjoying the perfect springtime weather. Once the feast was done, it was time to get to work.

With spring in full swing, the garden needed some attention. We spent time prepping the beds, mixing in Miracle-Gro All Purpose Garden Soil (2 CF) and LP Mushroom Compost (40#) to give our vegetable plants the best start. There’s always a good feeling about getting your hands in the dirt, knowing that in a few weeks, we’ll be picking vegetables.

If you’re growing green beans, give them the right support! Pole beans thrive when they have something to climb. Use a trellis, teepee, or cattle panel to guide them upward—this not only saves space but also makes harvesting easier and keeps the beans cleaner. Secure the vines gently with garden twine if needed, and watch them take off!

We also tackled some much-needed spring cleaning in the garage. Clearing out clutter, organizing tools, and finally making space for upcoming projects felt like a win.
